To configure Java to work with Mozilla on Linux, you just make a 
symbolic link to the JavaVM.  It's something like this, but the path may 
not be 100% correct, but you should get the point.
ln -s /usr/java/jre-1.4.1_02/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji.so
/usr/lib/mozilla-1.2.1/plugins/
