Well, I _say_ Seattle, but I _mean_ "the NorthWest".  Portland would be nice
as well .. kith and kin from Issaquah Wa to Bend, Or and my heart longs for
the soggy winters and glorious summers of my youth.

I dunno about needing a great place for 'tech' .. I've worked for the
Marines, FDIC, Compaq, the electric company, Plexus ... only two places that
were 'tech' and my job has been pretty much the same.
