[Newlug] Who is the NEWLUG President?

Hi  Don and All others,

No. At this point in time there is not a president. It is basically a
mailing list. If someone  would like to volunteer for the job and organize
meetings that is fine by me.  At one point in time  myself and a few
others  headed the group up(we did at that time have meetings (hosted at
the now defunct frontier communications/global crossing building in
Ashwaubenon), but things changed and most of the original members moved on
and other responsibilities demanded more of our time( basically some of us
started having kids  ;-)

I once again registered the site sometime back(after a year of being taken
by a domain squatter) and re-started the mailing list. A few members have
taken upon themselves to organize meetings of which  I sadly  have not 
had time to attend (working 70 hour weeks working with Sun hardware took
my time this past summer.)

So basically to those of you interested --->>>> if you have the time and
want to organize meetings please offer  to do so via the mailing list. If
the mailing list does not hear any objections or other offers the job is
yours.    :) You can then sign up to get nice promotional stuff for
meetings via the various Linux product distributors and such to be used
forgive-aways and such at meetings.

Any comments and or takers??  If not this list remains just as it is, a
mailing list.
