Thank you very much for taking the time to bring myself and the group as
a whole up to date. I would like to first make an offer for a meeting
place that can hold about 15 - 20, My employer Infinity Technology
(Located in GB I43 industrial park) has made available to me a
conference room.
Here is why I inquired: I am a long time devoded Novell engineer that
has stronging redirected my daily computer uses around the aquisisitions
of Ximian and SuSE. I am putting together a presentation in combination
with Infinity, Novell, and NEWNUG (Novell Users Group) to demondstrate
the rapid growth of Linux in the industry in enterprise environments. I
am of great interest to get as much local linux representation as
possible at my two scheduled presentations on Feb 10. Our presentation
is going to be on Novells Nterprise Linux Services. The first will be @
7:30 AM (GB) and focus more on a presentation, the second presentation
is being held at the 6:00 PM (App) NEWNUG meeting and is going to entail
a more technical demondstration and hopefully open discussion of linux
in use in our area already.
If anyone is interested in attending our presentation (either one) we
have setup a signup on our web site at:
http://www.infinitytechnology.com/events/join.shtml
OhYa...did I mention Novell is picking up the tab for food at the NEWNUG
meeting, I'm also working on them to see what kind of free stuff I can
get... If anyone knows of a linux vendor that would be interested in
promotional stuff to be given away I would greatly appreciate it.
