Because Enemy Territory is the one true FPS.  I have a thing for 
team-based WWII FPS with objectives, not just random deathmatch. 
Battlefield 1942 for windows was a great game too, but on linux I think 
ET holds the crown.  Plus ET is completely free.

There are a couple of free mods for it as well, one makes it more like 
Counterstrike.
