[Newlug] guidence needed

Good afternoon,

            I was wondering if there were any meeting coming up?  If there
are, I'd like to come and see what you folks are about.  About 22 years ago
in Watertown, WI there was a computer group that included most brands of
that day.  A great many things have changed.  While I started out wanting a
Mac but could only afford an Amiga.  The school where I grew up offered
Apple II, IIe and eventually a IIc.  I've worked my way up to owning several
PCs to support my family's lust for computers.  I've done some dabbling with
various distributions of Linux and other OSes over the years.  Currently at
home I run one Windows XP Home and a Ubuntoo / Windows XP Home machines.  If
BeOS were still doing well, I'd run their OS, yes I do know about the Haiku
project.  Anyway, this year I resolved to try and do more to be a better
user / programmer.  Along the same lines my son has decided to follow in his
fathers footsteps of computer lust.  So please let me know when the next
meeting is so that my son and I can attend.  Thanks for your time.
