[Newlug] irc

Sigh. $work has IRC ports blocked .. and the link from that page t
wilugdns.org is blocked by the proxy.

I even had a legitmate unix question that I needed a sanity check for.
Damn ... time to hunt up a unix-aware co-worker and actually talk to
someone ..

On the plus side I've rid my $work desktop of PCs running windows except
for an older box in the corner I keep so a vendor can use Web-Ex to
login, run Hummingbird and drive around the server when they need to
puzzle out what we've done wrong.

What - this it Outlook? Yes it is. But it's outlook running under
Paralells on my MacBook Pro so it doesn't really count.j

Welcome, Adam. If you are firewalled from IRC, you could try the web
based IRC client I've setup at http://www.wisconsinlinux.org/
