[Newlug] Barnes & Noble wifi problems

I wonder if anyone else has had problems connecting to the wifi at the
Barnes & Noble in Appleton.

Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

The problem I have is trying to get into that initial hotspot page, and then
going to the page to agree to the T+C for connection.  What happens a lot of
times is that the wifi will connect, and I will trying to open some random
page to get to the hotspot login, but the browser will just sit there saying
it's waiting for a response, and sometimes it will work right away, and
really fast, while at other times it will just sit there for over a half
hour before it gets a response, and sometimes, it just doesn't get a
response at all.

I've got a couple of files with just a stream of tcpdump data for both one
of the times it worked right away, and one of the times where it didn't
work, and I plan on getting more, but I'm not sure what I should be looking
for when comparing them.

Anybody have any ideas or even solutions?
