I got the SGA job listing from Jeremy Greene, but forgot that you were
in the Newlug group.
As long as I'm posting to the group, we're supposed to have a major
snow storm tomorrow. I'll probably be able to make the meeting, since I
live in Appleton, but, unless we postpone it, you guys who live out-of-town
will probably have to attend through our Google Hangout. Either that, or
book a room at the motel.

I beliee this is referring to our Software Engineer positions. If you look
at the posting you'll see that I would happily talk to any smart people
whether or not they have 4 years experience. We have 3 teams and my team is
mostly Java running batch process on Linux, but we are starting to mix in
more and more Groovy. We are mostly Oracle based however we are also
building new systems on PostgreSQL as well, and thinking about going to
Hadoop with Cassandra or HBase in the future. So the job description may be
a little misleading as our core technologies are C#, Java and PHP with an
Oracle DB, but that's not all we do. Feel free to contact me if you have
questions about the position. If I'm wrong and this isn't the job posting
I'm thinking of, well then contact me as we're looking to hire as well.
Thanks,

I thought I would pass this info on in case you know anybody looking

SGA is looking for a Software Engineer for a major telecommunications client
in Green Bay, WI. Ideal candidate will have more than 4 years of experience
developing web based applications with at least one of the following
languages: C#, Java, or PHP. Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server would be a

Also, for those of you who aren't in the Appleton area, there is a
front page article in the Appleton Post Crescent today that Alta Resources
in Neenah has 100 job openings right now, mostly for IT people, and they are
looking to add another 200 people on top of that within 6 months:
